We worked closely with the client on the entire design of this home, situated within a heavily wooded lot, minutes from downtown Portland. His vision was to incorporate the forest into the scope of the project as much as possible, allowing the natural area to return to its undisturbed state following the build. Tree preservation and re-planting were major hurdles with building officials, the approval process taking two years.
In the end, the owner could not have been more thrilled with the outcome. He, a gifted and refined designer in his own right, oversaw and executed the entirety of all furniture and interior design so as to thoughtfully complement this home design and construction.

Rhodes Architectural Stone supplied all building stone and paving materials.
The project originated with the addition of a new wing added to the original home that extended to the outdoor living area. This wing incorporated stone architectural veneers and retaining walls to build a new dining area, fire pit, spa, pool, cabana, poolhouse, outdoor shower, potting shed, and extensive pathways.
